My family and I had traveled to Europe over Easter spring break as one of my kids was studying abroad. As we had wanted to see this castle we were lucky to have stumbled across Amir and his tour. We were in Fussen for the day and were beyond satisfied with how Amir presented the history and insights to what we would see and hear once inside. Inside the castle tours are run by separate company but we met at a hotel where he picked us up, took us to the bridge, the lake, around the castle, got us skip the line tickets, and a carriage ride back down. His humor and professionalism and the evidence that he has a full knowledge of the subject were more than we could have hoped for! While the weather was not the best (Easter this year was April first) it was a trade off with not having to wait for what could have been hours during peak season and it was not as tourist filled. Would definitely consider using his services again!

Great, big castle which alps surround. Wonderful views all around. Good guide on tour inside the castle. Lot of tourist althought we have rainy day.

We arrived after the Castle had closed but walked to the entrance of the Castle. The views are incredible. I hope to go back and see more. The surrounding area is beautiful as well.

This is a beautiful castle and well worth the visit! The walk up to the castle is quite a pull and not for the feeble! There are options like horse and carriage rides up and down. Down side is, you aren’t allowed to take pictures inside the castle but the views from the castle in all directions are unbelievable. The city of Füssen and area around is wonderful also.

Breathtakingly beautiful and not too difficult to reach from Munich. It's around an 90 to 100 minutes depends on how brave you're to drive on the speed limitless German autobahns. Once you are there, its well sign posted. We were not able to get tickets on the day for the guided tour instead wandered around the castle grounds and it was well worth it. If you need to visit the castle, it is advisable to book in advance or go via a tour agency.
