Accessible by a 2.5 hour walk from town (sign stated), our family did it in 2 hours and was passed by many. The trail is a series of switchbacks and well traveled. No poles or climbing gear needed in summer. The food is prepared well. Indeed it was a positive experience. Recommend wearing trail shoes/hiking boots as a significant portion is stone. About 1 hour 40 minutes for the return trip. Moderate trail-take water.
