Overall we had a pleasant dining-experince away from the typical Bavarian fare. Also I would agree that this restaurant deserves some honorable mention in the Guide Michelin but there is still some room towards a first Michelin star IMO. Prices are on the expensive side for Berchtesgaden but still ok compared to similar restaurants in Salzburg. Since there was only one other table occupied during our mid-week visit the atmosphere was a little bit strained. Also the young lady in the service could have been more relaxed. I assume that this is different on weekends.
