Wonderful staff and very helpful. The food was extremely good and the service was awesome. Everything that we ordered off the menu was great! Highly recommend this spot.

Traditional dishes served with a flair and refinement on all the dishes we ordered. The delicious Maultasche soup, with a broth that was rich and smooth was a perfect starter. Main courses of braised Ox with Spâtzle and pan fried veal with the most tasty potato-cucumber salad were large enough to share. The service was friendly, fun and present. Can’t beat that! Highly recommend, and we will return on our next visit to Stuttgart!

Saturday night dinner. The place was full and veeeeeeeeery noisy. The table was next to the window, which was open and it was quite cold. Once closed it became extremely hot so had to open it again.
Service was a bit slow. Meals were ok.
I dont think the place is worth the rating it currently has and especially for the prices they charge.

Two colleagues and I visited this restaurant twice before and it was good; however, on a recent visit, things were different. On a Sunday night, the place was busy with couples, friends and families, and my two friends and I sat by a window, and a strong smell of cooked fish had greeted us. The noise level was high, and the sparse wooden tables added to the feeling that this was a "cheap and cheerful" local restaurant. However, it proved otherwise. The three of us ordered tagliolini with truffle sauce which was tasty, but the three or four root vegetables that came with it were seriously undercooked, almost raw. The second course, parcels of spinach and meat with a "fried egg" sounded good...but alas, it turned out to be a large, dry omelette with the maultaschen inside, and it was totally lacking in flavour and the two of us struggled to eat much of it. The salad that came with it was ok. One dessert, which was two scoops of ice cream and two dry pieces of chocolate cake ended the meal. With one bottle of Chardonnay/Weiserburgunder,(€32,) a port and a Gin and Tonic, the bill came to an astonishing €180, which was €60 per head...far too much for indifferent food served by stressed and unsmiling staff. Perhaps the fact that the Boss was out that night had something to do with it, but we were seriously disappointed, and will not return.
