We ate here on our first night in Stuttgart. A little tired and jet lagged, we wanted somewhere with good food, and little fuss.
This place suited out needs, serving Schwabian/German cuisine and wines. We opted for a dumpling soup, and mountain cheese soup to start. Both dishes were good and hearty.
For mains we had the beef with butter spatzel and schnitzel and spatzel. Both were substantial bit very tasty.
We chose a local red Spatburgunder Wine, which matches our food well.
The staff were very chatty and pleasant. Definitely recommend, especially if you're hungry!
