This Hotel has it's own entrance to the Das Vogel Brewery next door. It's virtually sound proof So when you open it you've got the full on bar noise, then silence when closed.
The staff are very helpful & speake good English. I came down worse for wear 1 hour after breakfast had finished & managed to help my self to what was left & get a cup of tea.
The original attraction was the brewery but by the second day they'd changed the beer to another which wasn't my favourite.

Room Tip: If Facing the street the room gets hot with sun light through the window so use the motorised shutte...

I stayed in the dependance which is a newly built building 100m down the street from the main hotel so can only comment these rooms.
The rooms are beautiful! Pure and modern design! Spacious bathroom with heated floors, spacious showers with different light modes for mood. The beds are super comfy. There was a nice coffee machine included in the room and there is a balconey as well.
Only minus - insulation, you can hear what's going on in the floor and other rooms (not to an uncomfortable point but still) I think it wouldn't hurt to install a second door in the room to phase out the noise from the corridor.

But this hotel is one of my favs so far - 4**** superior well deserved!

We spent 3 nights there and were very comfortable. Lovely newer hotel with large bathroom and comfy bed. Right next to the bed were switches for all the lights and to work the blinds. The breakfast was by far the best we had during 10 days in Europe. The beer garden/restaurant attached to the hotel was wonderful as well, and very convenient. Parking was in a private underground lot and not expensive at 11 a day. Easy walk to S Bahn station which is a quick ride into Karlsruhe city.

Very good hotel, although it does not look as spectacular as the pictures might suggest.
We booked a normal room for one night. Everything was fine. Breakfast was excellent, breakfast room is large enough for a quiet start of the day.
Reception staff was extremely friendly, especially the morning thet we left.
We did not need to use the hotel parking as there was sufficient parking space in the street.
The public transport to the city center is not too far away.

I have stayed at the main hotel before, with work. This time we were pointed down the road to the Kubis. Well, the room was amazing, luscious bed with scrumptious duvet (all my experiences of German hotels have the most delicious duvets........always singles tho, even if you have a double bed). Walk in shower, balcony for a smoke and good breakfast. First world problem was the gate that you need to get through to get into the hotel......well heavy!!!! Really enjoyed this experience.
