This hotel is only a couple of years old and has all the amenities you might look for in an otherwise historic city. Parking is very conveniently located next door (costs an extra $6.00US per day.) When I arrived I was confused how to get to it but I learned you can pull right in front of the hotel entrance on what looks more like a walkway and pull into the garage. The garage is city owned and is strangely enveloped in a fencing material. No one could answer why, but perhaps it was the vision of some architect to look different?
The A/C works well, breakfast buffet was the same everyday but very nice. It features American style breakfast, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffles...etc.
You can walk along the river Neckar to the town square or shopping area. You have plenty of choices for dining. Within the hotel there is a restaurant called Girafe. I ate there three times in a week for convenience but I have to say it was not great.More
