This small hotel was perfect for our 2 night stay in Annecy.
Room was excellent, bathroom perfect, the small front balcony was ideal.
Excellent buffet breakfast is served with Nespresso coffee and a fine selection of local produce.
The location is ideal to view the old town, shops and lake, all in easy flat walking distance.
Although there is no hotel parking, a public car park is very close & there is a subsidised free overnight arrangement.
There is no bar or restaurant in the hotel, but they do supply drinks in the small lounge area, but there are plenty of local facilities for food & drink.
Annecy is a fantastic place to visit for a couple of days & this hotel is recommended.

This hotel is located in the heart of Annecy. Staff is very nice and helpful at reception and at breakfast time. The room was really cosy and I would definetely come back. The hotel has a discounted fare for the Place de la Poste car park: the only issue is that we did not feel safe in this car park... Roma gypsies at the paying machine and we had to jump over 4 homeless people to enter the carpark.
Breakfast room is very very tiny and there should be more amenities in the room like in other Mercure hotels

Qualified and friendly staff. They can speak may languages.
The room was good but no view. Amenities inside the room is good and the WiFi was acceptable.
If you have your own or rental car, ask for the discount card in near parking.

It's an ok town centre hotel, bordering on basic. Stayed in September past and to be honest we thought the staff generally could have been friendlier. It's location is the key , 2 minutes from the old town.

Room tip: Rooms to the front, other rooms look out over backs of buildings

We spent four days at this hotel, using it as a base to explore Annecy and the surrounding areas like Chamonix. We had two rooms and they were well appointed, and a nice size, compared to many other places we stayed. Beds were comfortable, and bathrooms were clean and everything functioned well.

What made the stay outstanding though was really the people. It is a small hotel. All of the people, from the cleaning people, to the people working the small breakfast space and the front desk, were very polite, respectful, and willing to help, either with some English or in trying to understand our poor French.

Stephanie at the front desk was truly outstanding. She helped us find restaurants, grocery stores, gave us directions, and suggestions for other places she had stayed in France. We stayed for four days and got to know some of them personally, like where they were from, etc.

The best part was actually after we left. We drove down to Antibes on the coast, about 500 KM away, and three hours into the drive I realized I had left a small travel wallet and $1,500 euros in the open safe. There was no other ID in it, and it would have been easy for any one of the staff to keep it and that would have been the end of the story. But I believe in people, so I called anyway. They immediately went and found it, called me back at Rest stop, and we arranged to have it fedex'd back to me.

What more can I say? It restores your faith in people. I'd welcome any of them into my home if they came to the states to visit.
