Overall this hotel has some great strengths: it’s pretty, the staff is courteous, and the rooms are nicely sized and situated. There’s room in the bar, or outside, to sit and talk. Breakfast is great and the waitress is superb. Small things were annoyances, however: the door key locks the room easily but unlocking it takes work. Why, oh why, did they put these tiny night tables sitting four feet in the air, next to the bed, totally useless. The walls were thin, I heard too much of my neighbor.

We'd previously stayed at the Hotel Gounod in 2012 and once again the hotel did not disappoint. There are a few reasons why I love this hotel, the first is the staff. They are so friendly and accommodating and always have a smile.

It was a pleasure each morning strolling down into the patio/lounge area, to enjoy your breakfast in the dappled sunshine.

The location is incredible, just a short hop across the road and you are in the historical old town.

The chargeable parking is about five minutes walk from the hotel, however, it is secure and plenty of space for a large car. You are able to unload and load your bags at the front of the hotel.

I love this place, when we return to Saint-Rémy-de-Provence again, we will certainly stay here.

My wife and I were in a party of eight who stayed here for three nights during a short cycling tour of Provence. The hotel is in a central location in the lovely town of Saint Remy de Provence. The unanimous view of our touring companions was that the hotel just about ticked every box and belies it's official three star rating.

Each bedroom was individual and charming in their own way; ours had a lovely view and was air conditioned, the only downside being the 65 step hike up to our room, which was however, good for our fitness

The 'lounge' where breakfast is taken is beautifully decorated. Breakfast is help yourself continental style and is very generous. The hotel staff were super friendly and efficient.

A bonus for us at the end of a hot day on our bikes was the lovely courtyard swimming pool and garden which was wonderful to relax in and also enjoy a pre dinner cocktail or two!

If we return to Remy we shall certainly stay once again at this hotel.

Highly recommended.

Room Tip: All rooms had a view of sorts, depends on your preference...we like to. go high!

After a challenging experience at another hotel, we moved to this one. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean with updated bathroom. Great location and parking. Even on hot days, the air conditioning worked well.

This is my favourite hotel so far in my two months of travelling.
The hotel is truly charming and in a fantastic position with lots of restaurants and shops near by. Beautifully furnished with nice gardens and a outdoor pool. Bathroom is small but with a good sized shower. We had a king size bed and a small balcony overlooking the garden. The reception team speak English and are friendly and helpful. If you are coming in by car drop your luggage off first as the parking is a few minutes away. There is a public car park in front of the hotel. Don’t forget to book a parking space because they are limited. I really do wish there were more hotels like this one. It was a real pleasure to stay here.
