When we decided to visit the Provence it was my dream to see the Luberon and it's legendary little villages after I was taken away by a novel that took place in Oppède le Vieux and the area.
Coincidently I found Villa Daesch on the internet - and it turned out to be the greatest choice to make my personal Provence dream come alive. It is the perfect spot to visit the aerea - everythig is easy to reach in short time.
Villa Daesch is beautifully restored, you feel like in another century when you enter the court. All rooms - we also had the chance to visit the villa - have a very warm, personal and stylish atmosphere and we felt at home right away. Everything we needed for our stay was already there - also not typical for a holiday home. We felt like we could move in there for good right away, it was like visiting a friends house.
We also just loved the very personal and quiet atmosphere - we had our very private area and Edvard is the perfect host, knowing exactly the thin line between beeing friendly, warm-hearted, open and welcoming and respecting privacy at the same time. He always had a good advice for things to do and beautiful spots to see. And we had two of our greates nights with him and a good bottle (or two?) of french wine in the court :)
We will definitely return. We are in love with Villa Deasch. This is why I write my review here - what I have never done before and usually don't do - and I have ssen a lot of places... Come and see yourself!

The loft is comfortable with everything we need to spend pleasant moments in Provence. The kitchen has cooking utensils, a nice porch for dinners and a Jacuzzi outdoor always with warm water. The building is very interesting and the neighborhood around very calm. You need a car to leave this rural area with no trade around, but soon you got other cities, such as Gordes with access to great restaurants and so on.
