The apartment is clean and compact located a short walk to the beach, the market and tram stop making it most convenient to the train station, bus stops and nearby points of interest.
The hosts are very helpful and provide plenty of information on the local area and resources for enjoying your stay.
The apartment is accurately depicted in the photos provided by the site.
There is an awesome bake shop just down the stairs and each morning you can open the kitchen window and see all the wonderful pastries, bread and goodies for a wonderful breakfast or snack. The prices are incredible and the staff is nice.
Nice is a great place to visit and we hope to visit again in the future.
This apartment is perfect for a couple. It is a clean, compact, well appointed apartment in the heart of the old town of Nice. There is a baker right next door and the Cours Saleya, with it's colourful daily market is 40 metres away. Good communication with the owner and excellent directions. We were met at the bus stop and taken to the apartment. Any problems were dealt with promptly and pleasantly. We would use this apartment again and would certainly recommend it.
We stayed here for a week before Christmas. The apartment is small but contained everything we needed and we were warm, with a very comfortable bed. Don't expect luxury, but simple clean accommodation. Julian met us as arranged at the Cathedral bus stop and escorted us to the appt, which is on the first floor. He made sure we knew where everything was. The water was hot and plentiful and everything worked. We were thoughtfully provided with a 'welcome' bottle of rose wine. He also gave my husband info regarding model railway shops he wanted to visit.
The appt is on a corner of a small crossroad of tiny lanes within old Nice. We could buy fresh croissants from the patisserie next door (We could have called out our order from the kitchen window!) In hot weather the ice cream shop is opposite too. There was always something to watch but with the windows closed noise was not an issue. You are so close to the flower market that you can practically smell the flowers. The beach is very close too as are museums, Place Massena, and the newly remodelled Park Peillon with its spectacular fountains. We really felt part of the local community. The Old Distillery Cafe /bar was very atmospheric and you are spoilt for choice for good food.
Julian arrived 15 minutes early prior to our departure, so no problem getting the airport bus.
No need to hire a car. You can get to so many places by train.
We will definitely be going again.
Thank you Monique and Julian for enabling us to have great break.

I knew from checking the apartment out on google maps that it was close to everything but when I got there it was even better. Outside the front door is an amazing ice-cream shop, at the corner a Boulanger and then the markets just around the corner. The apartment itself was compact and had everything I possibly needed and everything was easy to use. I had no problems with hot water or anything.
I didn't meet the owners on arrival just a friend of theirs showed me too the apartment but they were so lovely they called in a few days later to meet me in person. They were so easy to deal with contacting me coming up to my trip and even while I was there and my security deposit went back into my account nearly straight away which was great.
I would definitely recommend this apartment in old nice to anyone, I had a wonderful time there.
Lovely clean and comfortable apartment in a great location near to beach, shops and restaurants. There is a bakery right outside the door. Clear instructions fron owners.
