Slightly shabby but atmospheric, Le Mai Thai is a great choice in Juan-Les-Pins if you want tasty Thai food with fresh ingredients. We wanted somewhere with a good choice for vegetarians and were very pleased with the meal. The vegetable spring rolls were hot and well-filled, the main dishes were delicious but the revelation was the coconut rice, which was like a savoury take on English rice pudding. The service was fine, just a little brusque, but as I was trying to say the French names for Thai dishes in an English accent that's not surprising.

The food is not bad, and I would have put a much higher grade if I had had a decent welcome from the waitress, instead of face that was either unable to answer my questions about the menu or seemed annoyed.
Manager should either train or change staff.

Excellent food; generous portions of delicious seafood. Wonderful fried rice (well-fried, not oily, rice was perfectly done, lots of crab meat). Professional and friendly service.

The building is a little tired but the food and service was excellent.
Traditional Thai food cooked really well, loved the atmosphere right in front. Great night Thank you Dave Green

The tom yang goong soup was sweet rather than hot, salty and sour- it also had some unusual ingredients like oyster mushrooms. As someone who cooks this dish regularly I am very familiar with how it should taste- this was neither authentic or good!
The seafood with coconut curry had a strange flavour and was accompanied by rice that was lumpy.
Not a good experience!
