Great room (303) on the second floor had a lovely balcony and everything you needed. Reception did not speak any English so had to check in on on Google translate. Only overnight that was pleasant and we had a great meal over the road at Le Ribbs. Parking on premises.

This place is not really a hotel, it is a casino offering a few rooms on top of the casino (last floor). But rooms are of good quality and we enjoyed our stay there (5 days in august): rooms are big, clean, very calm, very comfortable and with great terraces. I advise to choose a room with view on the old city and its castel rather than a room with view on the see as the see is very far and the view is much more on the parking than on the see...
Breakfast is ok although we would have welcomed more variety (e.g. eggs, delicatessen). It must be taken in the room, but this was not a problem for us, we took it every morning on the terrace with the view on the castel, that was really a nice way of starting the day.
To improve:
- the parking is free but you need to move your car every 19h otherwise you pay... We had to pay extra fees when departing due to this and the hotel did not want to reimburse, which really iritated us...
- the restaurant of the casino is very bad, don't go there, you'll find plenty of great restaurant in the old city.

Room Tip: Choose a room with view on the old city and its castel (not on the see!)

For a 3 stars we were disappointed by the hotel and brasserie. Everything is fine with the room.
The terrasse of the basserie is average and the food is not great. There are still some smoking rooms, so close your windows at night.

Perhaps it is unfair to rate this place partly based on its location. Hyeres is a working class, unimpressive town. Perhaps it's unfair to judge it without having experienced other accommodation in the region (which fares even worse on Tripadvisor). We chose this as the best of a bad lot in the area - and that is what it was. Not bad in general, if you can overlook the area. But certainly expensive for what you get. I guess I can recommend it, but at the same time, I can recommend avoiding Hyeres.

We were so pleasantly surprised to enter our large room with a spacious patio overlooking the Mediterranean. The bed was comfortable, as were the pillows. The bathroom was beautifully appointed with shower, bidet and large soaker tub, which was so nice after a long day of walking. There was free underground parking and free WiFi that worked very well in the room As well, the free continental breakfast delivered on a trolley at your time of choice was fabulous: two sets of croissants, freshly squeezed orange juice, fruit, coffee/tea and four pieces of French bread (buy some cheese and take the bread for a picnic lunch). We were right at the edge of the walled city and passed two lovely dinners in the centre square with three courses for E15.50. Look for the promotion. You don't need to bother with the Casino and you never hear any noise from it. You'll love this hotel so much, you might not want to leave. Use it as a central point to explore the district - don't move every night...

Room Tip: ask for a corner room, as you may get a view of both the old city and the Med.
