We picked Le Cosi partly because of the smile and welcome from the young Austrian hostess standing outside the restaurant!
Like many of its counterparts in Le Suquet area outdoor seating is a must but a little cramped. We had a excellent meal and the small touches of the amusee bouche at the start and petit four with our coffees were very welcome. The food was excellent and overall is was very good value for money, despite it being a random choice, it turned out to be an excellent one.

Very pleasant people all the way around. They promised, light-heartedly, the "best in the world." I wouldn't go that far, but the food was very tasty. Nice wine list with some fun bordeaux options. Right in the middle of Le Suquet, so it's surrounded by tons of people and energy. Worth a visit.

We began a week with headquarters in Cannes. Our first, and best, meal was at Le Cosi. Everything was extraordinary. My wife and I shared a wonderful risotto as appetizer, and she followed with a rack of lamb while I celebrated a huge veal chop. We agreed that our respective dishes were the finest of their kind in our experience! One problem: the portions were exceptionally large for France!

Cosi is on a charming winding pedestrian street with a bar across the way--good vibes. They have discrete heat lamps so you can dine alfresco even on a chilly evening. We ordered the lobster bisque and Roquefort cream celery branch, which was served between a flakey puff pastry for starters and the Turbotin fish for the main course.

They served two each of three small appetizers before we started that provided a great start to an excellent meal. Then they served a tomato Gazpacho with a cream lightly mixed with mozzarella. This also was delicious. Next came our bisque and puff pastry. The Roquefort flavor was mild and blended well with the bisque and celery branch.

The fish was served in a light lemongrass sauce with broccoli, asparagus, carrot, turnip and old vegetables of France. Yes, the turnip was a treat and made to perfection. We were told that the vegetables were selected from the local Forville market daily.

Finally, we topped the meal-off with the Declaration of Pineapple in Champagne sauce. A unique deseret and fitting for the perfect meal. They then provided the final surprise, a plate of meringue and chocolates...

The presentation of all food was excellent. We were served well by two staff and the owner himself.

A must do for anyone visiting Cannes!

My wife and I went here for our wedding anniversary after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. We arrived at the restaurant and immediately liked the atmosphere; sophisticated but at the same time a very casual feeling. All of what you would expect from a formal restaurant, but many of the guests were dressed casually in Jeans.

Service was excellent - including the owner himself waiting on us for most of our meal. We never felt rushed and always had someone refilling our glasses of wine and water and asking if we needed anything else.

Food was VERY good - sophisticated, fresh and excellent presentation and at a very reasonable price. We opted for the prix fix option ("Disovery Menu") - 3 courses for 35 euros... very reasonable especially in this part of France. My meal included truffle risotto with parmesan cheese, duck breast in a dark chestnut sauce w/ gnocci and spring onions , with Mocha Creme, vanilla ice cream and nougat for dessert (awesome!).

My wife got Pumpkin Soup w/ lobster cream, Scallops w/risotto and dried fruit with a shellfish emulsion, and a Pineapple with lemon creme and caramel sauce. She loved everything as well.

We will DEFINITELY return next time we're in Cannes (and perhaps before we return home on this trip!)
