Le Ralais du Postillion is a wonderful in beautiful Antbies, located 10 seconds walk from Ru de la république - a lovely street that tuns through the old city. Outside the hotel there is a park, with an amusement park for children. Le Ralais du Postillion has prime location and the hotel itself is warm, genuine and cozy. John Baptiste runs the hotel, he is very friendly and social. If you ask him he can take you out on his boat for fishing, swimming, visiting the islands or just random fun stuff (approx 400 euro for a whole day and you can be 10 people on the boat). The breakfast is very good and the all around atmosphere was lovely.

For 60 euro John can drive you to the airport in Nice, just make sure you ask him in time. He has a cool jeep with no top, so it's an awesome feeling riding along the coast-line to the airport.

I strongly recommend this hotel for families and couples looking for something geuine and beautiful. When you book, ask for the rooms with terrace.

Before I booked I called them and they confirmed that they have 24hour reception service. Unfortunately I arrived late (after midnight) because of a flight delay and the place was dark and locked. Tried to call the telephone numbers by the entrance but the person who answered did not speak any English, luckily the French taxi driver talked to him and a half-asleep person in his… pyjamas unlocked the entrance to let me in.
The room looked tacky and the bathroom was poorly cleaned. I cannot say much about the service because there wasn’t any. All in all it was not worth it.

I can only say having only stayed 2 out of the 5 nights booked here due to an awful experience which necessitated police involvement we had no option but to leave asap..
No staff after 11pm which leaves a front door unlocked all night with no security staff which was relevant to the events leading to our swift departure.. the owner charged us for the FULL 5 nights anyway! Even though they were fully aware the unsafe nature of their hotel due to unlocked front entrance following a serious stalking incident right to the hotel door was the reason we HAD to get out to get safe!
The pictures of this hotel baffle me as they do not reflect what you see when you stay there.. expensive and way below what we expected.. many better safer choices avoid here..

We stayed 4 days in the hotel, using Antibes as a base to explore the Côte d'Azur.
It was a great location in Antibes, on the edge of the old town but with car access to offload luggage. A choice of parking areas nearby, and a special deal arranged by the owners for the parking station across the road.
The hotel was very clean with nicely decorated rooms. We stayed in the top floor room with balcony with great views over Antibes. The room was a good size with good storage areas. The bed was comfortable. The shower good and the bathroom also had shelves to store toiletries, something I have noticed is uncommon in many hotels.
The room had good, quiet air conditioning, shutters and curtains making it easy to sleep and cool. (Antibes was very warm when we were there, 30+ degrees.)Also the area was quiet, despite its central location.
The breakfast was excellent value at 9 euros - cereals, fruit, yoghurt, bread, good jam, pastries, cheese, ham, eggs, juice & great coffee.
An elevator for the luggage!
The proprietors were very nice, helpful but not intrusive.
The other lovely thing about the hotel was that it had a bar and served drinks or coffee. It was very pleasant to sit outdoors on the pavement on the lovely comfortable chairs with a drink at the end of the day & overlook the park.

This is a great place to anchor a stay of several days along the southern coast of France. The location is central to Antibes; easy walk to Picasso Museum, along the Cape, to the Harbor or through the shopping and dining areas of town. It is also an easy walk, 600 meters, to the train station. Be aware, a taxi ride SHOULDN'T cost 10 Euro.

Service is warm and friendly though housekeeping is spotty. You are not paying for turndown service or tiny shampoos and expect to use the same towels and bar of soap for a few days. As a result, the price is extremely reasonable. The D rooms are really small, even for one person. Front and back rooms are quiet but during school session, the back overlooks a school playground. Street traffic is light, almost nonexistent.
