An amazing structure especially its facade with two huge personality that reflects human drama in its side, can't miss this building near to Hotel de Ville, facing numbers of local restaurants.

This is a prominent building of the classical style. It's located next to the Hotel de Ville, and in the lovely place full of trees and cafes.

I really liked the exterior of the Opera and spent some time photographing various details. Take as a whole, it is a bit overdone. But its central location seemed to indicate that regardless of the cities religious focus, the arts were equally important.

The Opera Theatre, which stands in a corner of the Place d'Horloge, has a wonderful façade. The entrance is three bays wide with a balcony above the doors, which is then topped by a pediment with carvings of female figures in the spandrels. In our opinion, it is a more attractive building than the adjacent, but much larger, Hotel de Ville. Sadly, we did not have sufficient free time to be able to attend a show.
