Room 106 in this hotel is miniscule and on first seeing it we asked to upgrade but nothing else was available for the two nights of our stay. The rooms are rather cheaply decorated with nylon throws and cushion covers but it must be said although utilitarian they were extremely clean. My reason for awarding the hotel with a lofty 3 stars is down to two factors, its location (great but no discount arrangement for parking) and its helpful, professional and cheery staff. It is probably one of the cheapest hotels in Toulouse with reason.

The hotel is kitschy which I don't like and doesn't really match for me with the old center of Toulouse. The room was OK and the airco was good. For a French hotel it has quite large rooms. Bathroom was a bit old and not modern. The breakfast was basic (only 9€). The staff was friendly. Location is very convenient in the center and close to a car park (Victor Hugo).

Stayed here with a group of friends on a rugby trip long weekend. The place was very modern, clean and bright. The bedroom was on the small side but was clean and comfortable as was the bed. The toilet/shower room was modern although the shower was really small and claustrophobic. It was very quiet on a night, which was a good thing. You could order breakfast for the next day and it was well worth the €9, would stay here again as it was central for everything

This is a beautiful hotel, lots of lovely art scattered around and very modern looking. The bed is extremely comfortable. All the staff knew English and were extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and attractions. It is very close to everywhere right in the center, we chose walked every where. Everything seems to be within a 20 min walk from the door step. Good value for money.

The down side to the hotel is the cleaning staff. The hotel is not dirty by any means but we found on arrive only half a toilet roll and two hand towels left in our room. On the second day we were still not left a toilet roll and the third day again no towels and no soap. They also did not change the bedding in 4 days despite us having to vacate our room by 12 everyday for them to be cleaned and restocked. Also the balcony doors wouldn't lock.

For a cheap 2 star, we wasn't sure to expect and was pleasantly surprised.

Central location and value for money. Capitole accommodated a group booking with no issues and a friendly manager.

For the price we paid we had no major complaints, other than lack of twin rooms available.
