We booked this hotel due to it's proximity to the sanctuary, which we later found out most of the hotels are just around 2-5 minutes walk to the sanctuary anyway. When we arrived at the hotel, the reception was on the phone and doesn't seem to bother that a guest had arrived, anyhow, her colleague from the bar went to the reception area and checked us in after 5 minutes of waiting. We were given the room at the 2nd floor, we thought we will be getting a double bed and a single bed since we are a couple with an 8 yr old boy with us, but to our surprise, we were given a room which is so small with 3 single beds, upon entry to the room, we need to take turns (two person can't fit in together after entering the door), the toilet is separate (without exhaust fan) which is really pleasant after one uses it.
The only reason why I give 3 stars is because of its proximity to the sanctuary and shops nearby, which is literally just outside the hotel. We took the breakfast package and we ended up paying 80 EUR, to which for us is a bit expensive.
The next time we will be around Lourdes, we will not stay here anymore and will try somewhere else.More
