We spendt 2 fantastic weeks in Perpignan in a very relaxed environment. Safe place for our children to play, and especially the swimming pool was a great place to spend our time.
This war our second time here and it won't be our last. The improvements James and Ilona have made have just put the cherry on top of the cake in this oasis of calm and beauty
If you want a holiday that begins as soon as you arrive, a place where you and your children will relax, party, play and be so completely happy then you must give Mas a try
With some of the best beaches a 10 minute drive away a beautiful city a short walk and some of the best food we have eaten all within easy reach you will have a great holiday and some great memories to take away with you
Thanks to James and Ilona for being real friends and we will see you again very soon xxx
We chose to stay & Mas de Fleurs because it looked very family friendly & it didn't disappoint. Elona & James are lovely & provide plenty of recommendations for places to eat & drink. The pool is great & gardens are exceptional. Not to mention the chocolate Labradors that my daughter fell in love with. We stayed in Mimosa house which is decorated to a high standard.
We loved Bamboo restaurant; Silex at Tauteval & wine tasting at The three Peaks. Also Collioure for the best unspoilt coastal village.
Basically, it's a great base; close to a lot of lovely places. Then fab to return & jump in the heated pool or chill out in the hammock!
From the moment we arrived we felt totally chilled, we were greeted by our hosts James & Ilona who could not have been more helpful during our stay. This is a great location to base your stay in the area. It is just a short 10-15 min walk or 5 min drive into Perignan city centre or the med coast just a short drive away, the beautiful gardens and pool area are a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing or being on the beach in Canet. The gites were clean, airy and very comfortable and we enjoyed dining on the decking area with a glass or two of the ice cold rose.
James is only too happy to provide recommendations for dining out and places to visit although information is provided within the gites to help plan your days.
This stay was just what was needed to give us a break and re-charge our batteries so much so that we booked again for the following season prior to leaving and boy are we looking forward to it...

To be honest, I find all the glowing reviews of this place a little odd. They are a little *too* effusive, but each to their own, perhaps. I have been to France four times, the first time 17 years ago. On my most recent visit, in September, I didn't, as it were, stay at Mas des Fleurs. I had fully intended to stay for a week.
After arriving, driving past the not-scenic agricultural polytunnels with a sense of dread, having our hire car scratched by the hedge because the car park was insufficient (it was a very small European car and the host actually laughed about it; perhaps not knowing what else to do, but it was not appreciated), and then spending about 2 hours in the unspeakably hot and stuffy room, my husband and I left.
I would like to emphasise that I have never, ever before abandoned accommodation, but Mas des Fleurs was just that unsatisfactory. We had a lovely night in another hotel nearby (La Fauceille) and then moved on to Collioure and then to Ceret, both of which were terrific. Go to France, it's a wonderful country. Just don't stay here; seriously.
