Description: La Brasserie du Moulin is the rendezvous of those looking for a warm and friendly atmosphere around a traditional and authentic cuisine. Brewery adjoining the Clarion Suites is housed in an old mill of the eleventh century canal-side on the Ile du Gua. Nestled in a green setting, adjacent to the lock, the Brasserie du Moulin offers guests a unique space with a wooden terrace on the water allowing those who wish to attend the ballet of boats passing or to the knowledge of Daisy duck, local mascot.

I can't believe it took so long to discover the brasserie but it's going to be my favorite place for a fine meal. The service is superb and the entree, plate, and dessert were all delicious. The beef fillet was simply the best steak in France, cooked to a perfect medium rare topped with creamy foie gras, served with truffle mashed potatoes and slivered green beans. Stuffed pheasant with roasted mixed vegetables. How could it be any better!?

We had not been to this restaurant before but it was one of the few places open on a public holiday. It is in a beautiful setting and the food and service were excellent. Not cheap but good value for the food we ate. The choice was good, delicious, beautifully presented and generous portions. This will be one of our favourites from now on.

We have enjoyed a meal here again this year and again think it is a real treat to order from the interesting menu and to receive such excellent friendly unobtrusive service.
It's not cheap but is a special treat!

We ate here yesterday evening. The food was beautiful & the Fillet Steak was the best we had ever had. The restaurant was clean & beautifully laid out. The draw back was getting there. The walk over one of two bridges over the canal & weir is not suitable for the infirm. It is also daunting for people like myself who suffer with balance problems. Otherwise a lovely meal.
