The restaurant was recommended to us for dining, by our hotel.
We parked on "Quai Victor Hugo" (free parking at night). The restaurant is located on the main street (cours de la République) when heading towards the Cathedral.
Popular with locals, the restaurant got quickly crowded.
We opted for a menu - at 17.50 Euros each. Service was efficient. The food was good, from appetisers to desert.
A good option if you're in Narbonne.
NB: The restaurant is closed on Tuesday nights and Wednesdays.

We have eaten here twice and by no means are they going for a Michelin Star but the food is good, affordable, service is dedicated and the creme custard when available is delicious. En Face has regular hours which is nice when so many other restaurants are not open. Over all good meal.

We eat here, while stopping over in in the town for one night, the meal was excellent, and actually one of the more enjoyable meals on our trip. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the food was great. It wasn't just "typical" food, there were interesting flavours and new tastes. Really lovely, and congratulations to the chef and staff.

We arrived in Narbonne on a Sunday, which in France often means a culinary desert (not dessert) of two evenings must be crossed. In our desperate searching we stumbled upon this busy restaurant, one of several spilling out onto the street which lines the right bank of the canal in the historic centre. These establishments vary in character, but this one rates as a quintessential French regional diner, with a lively atmosphere. The cuisine and the presentation is as good as you will get short of a Michelin star. The young proprietor (who bears an uncanny resemblance to Ronaldo) acts as the head waiter, and keeps an alert but friendly eye over everything that happens, ensuring a great dining experience. We ate there twice, and it would have been more, but they close on Tuesday night. We had some tasty warm salad starters with chicken livers in balsamic reduction and roast tomatoes on flaky pastry. My wife had a delicious and authentic cassoulet; I had a fillet of cod baked with a chorizo crumble topping; the ratatouille that accompanies the fish dishes was especially good. But the menu includes much more and the meats looked equally desirable. Oh, and there is a great wine at only 26 euros which I think Parker rates around 92+, Chateau D’Aglys 2013. Our three course meals with (superior) wine came to 77 euros on both occasions. Highly recommended.

We found this place by chance on a Sunday afternoon when very little else appeared to be open. We were encouraged by another customer telling us that the food was really good.....and it was, our melon with ham was beautiful, the salad was fresh and it was just perfect, this was followed by fish, which was perfectly cooked and with a wonderful sauce with tiny mussels and shrimp. The portions were very generous, and I was unable to finish mine. The waitress was very helpful and generous with her time, worth a try if you are in Narbonne.
