“The perfect apartment to be a Parisien”
Reviewed 2 December 2014 for a stay in November 2014

All the reviews I read about this apartment before booking were spot on! The entire rental process from start to finish was easy and straight forward. We rented the apartment for 7 days and only wish we could have stayed longer.

The owner's Rafic and Jasmine are delightful, helpful and non intrusive. After many years of visiting Paris, this stay was extra special and probably the best. The apartment is in an excellent location, residential and quiet, but very close to all the great sites around Champs de Mars. The metro Ecole Militaire is only about a 5 minute walk away. Great restaurants, bakeries, markets, shops, parks, and sites are in the area.

The apartment was ready for us in the early afternoon, and it had everything needed to get us started for the next couple of days. All the amenities were of good quality, the bedding, towels, furniture, temperature, lighting, very clean, it was like being at home when away from home. There was also plenty of coffee available, just remember to feed the funky-monkey (you will know if you decide to rent)...something fun.

I somewhat hesitate giving a rave review only because it will become difficult to rent in the future because of the popularity...I only joke...no one should hesitate for a moment to rent.

Thank you Rafic & Jasmine for adding to our wonderful Paris experience, and see you next year.

“No Better Place to Stay in Paris!”

Rafic and Jasmine have created an apartment that feels like home. The apartment is in the safest neighborhood in Paris. Quiet, yet all the essentials are nearby, inclucing a great bakery around the corner! The apartment was clean with every convienence necessary and others not so and Rafic was available whenever we needed him. The bed was extremely comfortable, something one really needs after a long overseas flight.
The refrigerator and kitchen was stocked with more than enough supplies. The frig had juice, yogurt, eggs, ham, cheese and other stuff I can't remember. Being coffee lovers we appreciated the nespresso machine, but you have to pay the monkey (if you rent the place you'll know what that means!).
The first thing Rafic did was take us into his apartment, next door, offer us a drink (we had coffee) and fixed our digital camera which was acting up.
Rafic was quick to recommend food options and even made us reservations at a great restaurant near the Eifel Tower.
An added benefit was a 3-hour tour given us by Rafic, who took us to places in Paris that we would have never seen on our own. Rafic loves Paris, he really does and therefore, his tour is built on passion. It is something that can't be contrived or faked.
We now consider Rafic and Jasmine our friends. There is really nothing bad we can say about this place, except that we miss already.

“What You See is What You Get!”

Apartment is exactly as described and pictured (nearly 550 sq. ft!). Location is great; quiet neighborhood, but only 5-minute walk from two metro stations. Entire process went very smoothly from booking to departure. Owner is very helpful, friendly and accessible. He offered lots of free tips and info via email before our arrival, and additional services upon check-in (for a fee) such as personal tour of Paris and restaurant/show bookings. When I return to Paris (and I surely hope to do so), I will definitely consider staying there again.

“Perfect place to enjoy Paris”

This is a beautifull apartment from which to enjoy Paris. Our host Rafic met us on arrival and gave us all the information we needed to know about the apartment and the surrounding area. Tea, coffee, milk and eggs and lots of other condiments were generously provided for us to use during our stay. The apartment had an excellent music system and CD collection, TV with Sky News and BBC World and WiFi. Good quality towels and bedding were provided. The apartment was very clean, nicely furnished and comfortable in a great location with plenty of transport options. Rafic and Jasmine were just the perfect hosts.
