Location, location, location. 5 minute walk from Notre Dame, a few blocks from the Louve, and on a pedestrian street without traffic with multiple eating options. Lively neighborhood, but actually did not have issues at all with noise at night even though there is a restaurant below. We just closed the windows and turned on the fan from the air conditioning unit and slept well. However, we were not there on a Friday or Saturday night. Did not meet Fabienne, but Farydak and communication was good. Waited only 15 minutes on arrival to get into the apartment, but we were 5 minutes late. Small kitchen and no oven, but we used microwave or ate out. Washer and dryer in one unit is acceptable, but takes a long time to run a cycle (like 4 hours or more long) so you would need to run it all night or all day. No dishwasher, but not a problem for us. Excellent grocery and bakery steps away. RER A a 2 minute walk, RER C about 10 minutes as the St. Michael station is closed. Used Bus 69 a good bit as well which stops near the house. Bedding is studio, but comfortable and clean, was perfect for my family of 5. Very safe neighborhood, walked around with the kids late into the night without worry. It does have one flight of spiral stairs, but not a problem at all. Would absolutely stay again and would recommend as well!
We stayed for in this apartment for one week, it was perfect! It was neat, clean and walking distance to everything. It seems like its in a little neighborhood. There are many locals and tourists in the area congregating at all the little cafes near the apartment. One cafe we really enjoyed was attached to the apartment, Le Petit Chatelet. It was an apartment and not a hotel, so cleaning and fresh towels were only available for an extra fee. We chose to walk to the local grocery store and pick up some small things instead, like soap for the washing machine in the unit. We also bought some snacks so we did not have to eat out at every meal. I would stay here again, for sure!! Highly recommended!!!
We arrived and Fayaek showed us the appartment, I thought it was on the first floor but we needed to keep walking up the stairs and ended up on the fourth floor. Fabienne decided to give us another appartment without saying anything or letting us know. Then we had to leave a deposit, which we also didn't know. We arrived early so we changed and went out because the appartment wasn't cleaned yet and we could come back after 1 pm. That wasn't a problem. Fayaek was really nice and welcoming. However the appartment wasn't really clean or well equipped. 2 pans without a lid and only salt to season our food. only the bedroom had a duvet and 3 others on the couch only had a blanket (which ofcourse was not clean) and we had to make up the bed ourselves. Beneath the cupboards in the kichten it was dirty with empy waterbottles. The lamp next to the couch didn't work. It was okay to stay for 3 days because we only went there to sleep. But for longer stay and wanting to cook it's not ideal. He was really nice and flexible and let us leave the suitcases there for our last day which we picked up in the evening. I had higher hopes for the appartment but we had a pleasant stay anyway.
If we get the opportunity to return, we will not hesitate to rebook at Le Petit Châtelet, & will for sure recommend it to friends.
For a family of five, although not super spacious it still met our needs perfectly (loved having the mini kitchen) and was a central location within walking distance to the Seine River and Notre Dame. Staff was very kind and accommodating.
This was one of our favorite stops on our 9 day vacation in France & Germany!
Perfect! We had wonderful days in Paris. The flat is exactly like was announced. We were very happy there!
