Description: David Bottreau told the kitchen Mehdi Karamane, formerly second restaurant, went head today. Together they reflected on a new kitchen , which is the new life given to the restaurant : a tinted gourmet cuisine in a bistro generosity. They dust off the gourmet kitchen , and make accessible star, with only watchword quality and creativity. The kitchen retains its identity by selecting marine classics of the marine world , but also delicious and unknown products to the general public . The noble products such as sole , lobster , caviar are offered in this suggestion, according to arrivals. Seasonal products are showcased , guaranteeing freshness preserved , and starred cuisine is reflected in specific executions, controlled , in order to rediscover and exhaling in the flavors.

We went for lunch, and had a fantastic meal. We only had a main each, both of which were delicious. The skate wing was cooked to perfection and was served with risotto and asparagus. The squid and chouriso was also very well done. Service was quick and friendly. An appetizer was served of veggie broth and small little cheese puffs—delicious!

In the beautiful 7th district near the Champs de Mars and the Eiffeltower, life is elegant. Les Fables de la Fontaine fits this atmosphere perfectly. The restaurant is beautiful, the service is personal (it helps to speak French but it's not necessary). The menu is original (in the good sense) with unexpected combinations and the wine list is not large, but also not over-priced for once. The only point of criticism is the portion sizes. I was a little hungry leaving the restaurant after a starter, a main and cheese.

I have not been to a Michelin star restaurant but wanted to try one on our visit to Paris. We were not disappointed. From the appetizers to the dessert, every dish had a unique and flavorful twist. I especially liked the Perfect Eggs with leeks and black truffle for the appetizer. I would not thought of that as an appetizer but it worked. And the white fish with aioli as a main course was very flavorful. We shared the souffle with heart flowing mango passion sorbet-I love the name and the dish. Service was excellent but we were not in a rush. The atmosphere was just right as well-my husband is a bit hard of hearing so nice to go to a restaurant where we could easily talk during dinner without shouting.

The service is good and they are trying their best but the kitchen does not follow and all the tables have to wait 50 minutes before to get the starters and it is the same when it comes to the main course and the desserts; the food is good but less than it used to be. Average starters, good main courses (scallops). Not worth the visit.
