My daughter and I had a great shopping experience at the flea market north of Paris with Alexis. We would have never found the items we did without her experience and expertise. With Alexis's help, I finally found my vintage Hermes scarf that I have wanted for a long time. Her knowledge and time with us was invaluable and I highly recommend booking with her for a tour of the flea markets or looking for special jewelry.

We spent a wonderful afternoon with Alexis at the Musee des Arts Decoratifs in the jewelry exhibition. Alexis has an amazing knowledge of French history which she relates through the story of how French jewels and jewelry have evolved since medieval times. We had the story of how socio-economic and world history influenced the history of jewelry. But what really shone through this was her love and passion for the subject and her knowledge of almost every piece in the collection. We were intrigued and fascinated by these wonderful examples of history in miniature. The time flew by and we were left wanting to see and hear more. Alexis’ tour is a wonderful introduction to the art of jewelry and to France itself. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT !

What impressed me about Alexis' jewelry tour at the Musée de l'Art Decoratif was her deep understanding of gems and jewelry design as well as history and the ways in which social change influenced design. Alexis is very knowledgeable and engaging, You will come away, as I did, knowing far more about jewelry than you can imagine and at the same time totally enchanted by your time well spent in Alexis' company. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

My weakness is jewelry. I love jewelry. Both men's and women's jewelry. But I know very little about jewelry. I went on one of Alexis tour, and I have to say it opened my eyes, especially to "fine" jewelry. Her knowledge is immense, coupled with her love of the French's fondness of fine things, her love and passion for jewelry is contagious. So, if you want to know more about the history, the French sensibility of fine jewelry, and jewelry in general, don't miss this tour! HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!

I was lucky enough to join Alexis on her jewelry tour that takes you through not only the most amazing collection (Middle Ages to today's designs) but also on a journey of social, political, religious and geographical changes throughout history. Being a licensed gemologist and trained designer, Alexis' knowledge, expertise, but most importantly her passion for her subject pulls you into a world that not only fascinates visually but intellectually as well. I thought I knew about jewelry....I was wrong. The good news, after this tour, I now know more than I could ever imagined and love looking at jewelry through opened/educated eyes!!
I highly recommend Bijoux Society.
