This restaurant is behind the chocolate shop. The food is good and it seems to be used by locals. We were intrigued by the number of people ordering a take-away hot chocolate but ordered one after our lunch and understand why - very decadent. We had a simple nicoise slade and a croque monsieur. While there an elderly French lady at the next table also ordered a croque monsieur with a fried egg on top - I've never seen that but it looked great - a perfect Sunday brunch. The staff were professional and friendly too. Worth visiting on your way to the Louvre or just for a take-away hot chocolate.

Nice, classic, great to enjoy a morning breakfast. Try the various patisserie also, not just an ordinary French breakfast if you wish to enjoy the advantage and the professional touch.
Too pricey.. But this is Paris.
If you don't mind the chic arena, you can enjoy (even more) breakfast in small and less famous local places.

They were an hour from closing when we got there at 5pm (who closes at 6pm during peak season????) and the lady who served us was so sloooooow and could not speak English to save her life. And for a popular restaurant like this who cater to a lot of tourists, that's quite backwards. Anyway, the hot chocolate was great but she basically wouldn't take any more of my food orders because they were closing in an hour, talk about customer service gone awry.

Angelina is a very busy place with little ambiance. Tourists pour in and out. Mont-Blanc, their signature pastry, is very good. The hot chocolate is rich and very sweet. If you want to try both, buy the pastry to go, on the way out. Having both at the same time was too much for me. Two pastries and the hot chocolate for two cost about 34 euro. I will come back for the pastry and skip the hot chocolate next time.

Came here for breakfast with my friend and enjoyed one milk and one white hot chocolate which were both divine, but i do have a big sweet tooth! Also had croissants and toast accompanied with jams etc. a lovely beginning to one of our days in Paris
