One of the best Bento places I’ve been to in the city, and with the most exquisite service. Going there is taking a good culinary decision
Tsubame feels like a small neighborhood restaurant by the Place Blanche in Paris. The place is small, often packed as their is not a lot of space but the atmosphere feels friendly.
The food is written on a chalkboard and is made of various dishes that are "tapas" like. And it is all from japanese inspiration, except for an eggplant family recipe.
We tried the soba, the nems, some kind of algues and the girama. Everything was super good especially the fish and the algues!
Expect for the owner how was pushing too hard to sell us food and beverages it was a good night
Excellent service, very good food. Le patron is warm and welcoming, speaks very good English.
Nice menu with plenty of choice.
I spent a weekend in Paris, and my friend decided to show me this restaurant where she is used to come for diner. I was so amazed by the quality of the food, every portion is tapas size, and the pricing definitely reflects the quality. The food was very tasty, the service was fast and the experience itself was great!
We ate so much that night as we couldn't choose between all the amazing choices, so I believe there isn't "bad" tapas choice there!
Definitely recommended!
