We stayed here over Christmas and New Year 2017-18 and loved it! There is an amazing view and so much useful and helpful stuff in the apartment.
A great compact apartment with outstanding views of the Eifel Tower and Central Paris. Warm and cosy when needed.
The host spoke English well, was very hospitable and warm and the handover was extensive.
They went a little further than expected with helping us book our anniversary meal –thank you so much.
The kitchen was very well equipped but pay attention to the explanation as to how to use the hob and microwave. Both work very well but have to be operated in accordance with not to obvious instructions.
Wi-Fi was good and quite speedy. The TV had a ‘satellite’ connection and the normal English news channels.
Great twin headed shower with plenty of hot/constant water.
The washing machine was very handy, (complete with detergent and clothes pins) and there is a pull out dryer.
The Metro can be accessed from both ends of the road the apartment is on.
Mobile signal is good at 3 and 4G
Good local shopping for essential food stuffs.
We would stay there again without hesitation.
Stayed in this convenient apt with a great view for nine days.Jean Louis, your pointman,is great and the size and comfort is well acceptable for two people.just remember there is small fee for arriving very late or departing very early.also a 200 Euro cash deposit when you arrive.
Great apartment, close to metro to get you to all sites, in great area of Bastille and rooftop views
This apartment is undoubtedly the best kept secret in all of Paris. The view is spectacular from the whole apartment you have incredible views (floor to ceiling) of Sacre Coeur, Bastille and the Eiffel Tower. As you wake up in the morning you see the view and as you go to bed you see the sun set on the Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur, I felt that I had been kissed by an angel to be so fortunate.
The apartment is in one of the loveliest areas and streets in Paris. I have visited Paris many times and lived in the 7th And 14th arrondissements but the 11th is the best. THe street is safe, people are friendly and there is everything you need for the perfect stay. The Rue Charonne has many supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, bistros, antique shops, clothing stores and arteliers, it is a friendly family neighbourhood. Below the apartment which is in a very safe and secure building is a park so there is green space below, the park is well maintained and only accessible to the public for a limited period, residents of the apartment can access it at anytime.
The metro is a 3 minute walk and it will take you anywhere in Paris and beyond. Buy a Carnet Dix ( book of ten tickets) from vending machines and these are available at all Metro stations,
Do not hesitate for one minute to book this apartment, the care taker JeanLuis lives in the building, speaks perfect English and I am sure many other European languages and is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.
The apartment is clean with a large spacious bathroom and the kitchen is well equipped with good bedding. The whole feel of the place is welcoming and the building is clean and very well taken care of.
We were a couple and it suited us fine - there is not one negative thing to say other than I will be back.
My wife and I stayed in this very clean and simple studio apartment for a week while exploring Paris for the first time. We were greeted Jean-Louis, a neighbor, who showed us everything and was ready to answer any questions we had.
The apartment had all the basics including a microwave, dishwasher, coffee makers and a small washing machine. Everything was working and in good repair. There are two elevators and stairs in this security building. The 10th floor view from the apartment was wonderful. The Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral and Montmartre in the distance are beautiful at night. The apartment is in a safe neighborhood with grocery stores, pharmacies, bakeries, a cheese and butcher shop and restaurants nearby.
The apartment is about a five minute walk from two different Metro stations which were all we needed to get all around Paris. If we were to go back we would not hesitate to use this apartment again.
