Comfort and clean hotel. Easy access to the city, within 10 mnts walking distance you can reach out to Galleries Lafayette shopping centre. Furthermore, Le Peletier metro station is only 2 mnts walking distance.

Hotel staffs are helpful to give a clear map direction. They also could help you to arrange airport pick up by mini-van.

I use this Ibis hotel because it is a 15-20min walk from Gare du Nord - get off the Eurostar and avoid the taxi queue by an easy, flat walk. The hotel is clean and the 2 different bedrooms I have been allocated have both been much bigger than the Paris average room size. The is a good choice of bars and restaurants in the area.

As an Accor Elite, I try to stay at a property managed by them. Paris has hundreds under their management. I wanted to book one, which has walking distance to the metro, as well as the famous Galeries Lafayette store, as I was planning to do some shopping.
The surrounding neighborhood has couple of mini-markets and lots of restaurants and bars along Rue La Fayette. The metro (Cadet) is few blocks away.

The front desk staff were very polite and courteous. They booked museum tickets in advance so that one can avoid the lines.

Pros: The room was better than one's I have stayed in other cities. It was bigger, and the bed was slightly more comfortable than one's I had in Asia. The bathroom was definitely more spacious than tiny ones in New Delhi and Singapore.

Being in a side lane, it was quiet. The room overlooked the alley.

Cons: This property unlike others I have stayed, had no mini refrigerator or a in room safe. The corridor in the floor was narrow and elevator was tiny. Normally, as an Elite I am given a welcome drink; there was none offered.
The breakfast room was in the level below and offerings were sparse.

Since it was raining most of my stay, I spent lots of time at the museums. It is high recommended if one wants to go to the famous department stores Galeries Lafayette, Printemps along Rue La Fayette.

Room Tip: Overlooking the interior courtyard.

Dear Nightndawn,

Thank you for leaving such a comment, wich is much appreciated.
We are glad that you enjoyed your trip in Paris, and that you could easily cover the city thanks to our location.
Nevertheless we would like to apologize that the welcome drink wasn't given to you upon your arrival. Know that we will remind this process to our team.
Besides, indeed Ibis hotels don't have refrigerator in the room, as it's a 3 star hotel.
However your remarks are precious and help us to improve our services everyday.

Thank you again, we hope to see you soon.

Kind regards
