We have spent only one night in this hotel so I can’t write much about it. Anyway the location, style and overall atmosphere were fantastic. Metro station is just near and there are many nice restaurants, café and the supermarket in close neighborhood. Décor reminds early times between world wars. Rooms are comfortable, stylish and we could see roofs of Paris from the small balcony. There was also a small kitchenette in the room, no free mineral water but coffee and tea facilities.
Why not perfect? Well, all the night we had the "effect of the brook" in radiator. May be they could fix it but probably not in the middle of the night... AC remained deaf or just incomprehensible for me. In the kitchenette we could find some cutlery, glasses and dishes but it wasn't complete; no corkscrew. In France! The room and bathroom were relatively small; for me it doesn't matter but if someone cares…
So, if you prefers overall impression more than details - it can be a good place to stay and feel the atmosphere of Paris.

We have just returned from a two night stay at the Hotel Les Jardins du Marais in Paris - and what a find! Although having a small frontage, the hotel is very large but we couldn't believe we were staying in a busy city hotel since the bedrooms back on to a lovely, peaceful courtyard - so no noisy traffic passing by! We had an Executive Room in the 'Ravel' block, which was extremely spacious and beautifully decorated, somewhat in the art decor vein. The breakfasts (although self-service) were excellent with a plenty of choice (including eggs and bacon if wanted). Staff at the hotel spoke very good English and we found everyone extremely helpful and friendly. We did eat in the hotel restaurant one evening, which was a delight - and the food of a very high standard. We would definitely return to this hotel.

Room Tip: Upgrade to an Executive room for more spacious accommodation.

My group and I stayed at this lovely hotel for a few nights during our visit to Paris. Even though the hotel itself is lovely and the staff have the greatest intention to help out, we were disappointed every day by the lack of attention to detail and lack of communication between the different departments in the hotel.
After the 1st night we decided to upgrade our room to a quad with 2 washrooms, to avoid the morning rush of 4 ppl getting ready with 1 bathroom. Unfortunately the new room we got had a faulty bathroom that only had HOT water, so we couldn't use it and we told the front desk to fix the shower while we were gone for the day and also to add 2 rollout beds in the den area of our room.
We left for the day and came back after midnight only to find that the bathroom was now "fixed" to have only cold water and the shower wasn't working anymore and they had given us only 1 extra bed. So we had to share only 1 bathroom again and wait for someone to bring us our 2nd rollout bed.
The next morning we told the front desk about how our problems weren't solved and they put in another request for the shower to get fixed and offered us a free night of parking to makeup for the problems. So we accepted the offer and hoped that the cold shower problems would be solved by the time we get back at night.
Once again, we came back at night and realized our bathroom was still not fixed and apparently nothing was done about it either. This was very frustrating because the rooms themselves were very nice and the lack of maintenance on the amenities and service was making us not enjoy our stay. The entire point about us getting a room upgrade was to have the extra bathroom which we never had.
All these aside, at the end of our stay the staff were reasonable and understanding of our concerns and compensated us for the lack of proper service and functioning bathroom but I found that this lack of attention to detail was seen all over the hotel.

They were missing knobs for the shower fixtures, the toiletries weren't replenished everyday, and the parking area of the hotel was filled with boxes and boxes of fixtures and microwaves and tiles. If the hotel claims to be 4 star worthy, they should probably think about having things like that fixed and stored somewhere out of the guests way.

I hope this was an isolated incident at the hotel because I would love to go back and stay there again.

exteriors can be so deceptive, it looked a bit random from the outside but had the most amazing courtyard and interesting interior.
lots of gorgeous young hip staff so friendly and helpful and the hotel was straight across the road from the most beautiful shop in the whole world, 'Merci' a must to visit if you are in Paris.

Room Tip: some of the lower floors may be a bit dark

very unusually for Paris this hotel has a number of great things going for it
One the staff are so pleasant and helpful which is so often just not the case in Paris
Two the rooms are large, and well designed
Three the breakfast is very good for France
a very very pleasant place to stay!
