Stayed here for 3 nights at the end of June. This small boutique hotel is right in the middle of busy street with lots of hustle and bustle as you would expect of Paris. The decor is stunning and attention to detail second to non. The beautiful flower arrangements around the hotel are some of the nicest I have ever seen. Our room, with a lovely view overlooking the high street was small but perfectly formed equipped with everything you would need on a weekend break and was spotlessly clean. Designer products in the bathroom (Hemes) and a excellent hairdryer. The hotel has beautiful window boxes on all the windows with red geraniums....very Parisian. The breakfast choice was just right to start the day ...with fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, bacon etc.. something for everyone, and served in a lovely little breakfast room. There is a lovely terrace where you can eat or just sit and have a drink and relax. The staff were amongst the nicest staff I have ever encountered in a hotel. The breakfast waiters, the reception staff ...everyone was so friendly and couldn't do enough to my our stay perfect. Particularly mention to John (Jean) the concierge who booked restaurants and gave us some great local advice. We had a couples massage included in our package which was very relaxing and a great treat. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this hotel. I would high recommend it to anybody reading this and we can't wait to return one day .

Great location. 1 1/2 blocks to the Seine. Walking distance to many attractions (Louvre, Notre Dame). Neighborhood has a lot of shops and bars.

Check in was very pleasant. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We were early for check in. We had a seat in the inner garden and had a drink while we waited. Our room was still ready before regular check in hours (thank you).

The room was very clean. It was small but comfortable. There was a queen bed. The bathroom was clean and updated. There was a tub/shower. Stepping into the shower was a little tricky as the tub was high. No problem for me because I’m very agile and athletic but beware. The hotel provides a cell phone with free calls/data/International. We didn’t use it because for $10 a day Verizon let’s you use your own plan and call International but it would have been a great perk.

We ate breakfast 2 mornings. It was very tasty including eggs, potatoes, croissants etc. E25 person but it provided a good start to the day.

We didn’t use the bar/lounge in the lobby but it did look nice.

Would definitely stay again.

A boutique hotel with excellent service from friendly and helpful staff. Beautifully decorated and finished. Very clean and overall a lovely and relaxing atmosphere. The courtyard garden is a welcome and tranquil place to have a drink or a bite to eat away from the busy city outside. Perfect location for those wanting to be in the heart of Saint Germain. We would stay there again

Years ago, the Right Bank was the place to stay. Now, Le Rive Gauche! In my opinion.
And the Hotel d'Aubusson is perfectly located. Turn right outside the front door and in a block and a half you are on Le Pont Neuf. Halfway across the bridge you are at St. Chappell, Le Conciergerie, Notre Dame and More. The Louve is maybe a 10-15 minute walk away. And you can get a great Seine boat tour halfway across Le Pont Neuf. Turn left outside the front door and cafes, shops and more cafes and shops everywhere. Hermes and Louis Vuitton now have major stores on the Left Bank. Forgot. The Musee d"Orsay is only a 15 minute walk from the hotel. A MUST!
Besides location, what differentiates the Hotel d'Aubusson is the staff. Jean and Coralie, the concierges. Flavien, the "spirit of the bar". Roshan and Lucie in the breakfast room and outside courtyard during the day. And many, many more. Whoever said Parisienne are rude, never met these people. LOVELY!! The other thing I love about this place is the interior courtyard. I was with a small group of family and we sat there for breakfast, afternoon wine, before dinner and after dinner wine. Yeah, we drank a lot of wine and had wonderful conversations! As did a lot of other people there!! My highest compliments to the staff and I highly recommend the Hotel d'Aubusson. Fourth time there and it gets better every time!

Room tip: My sister and I stayed in a Deluxe Room. Two large windows facing the Rue Dauphine! And to all women, good lighting in the bathroom.

After months of anticipating our visit to Paris, it was a disappointment to arrive tired on a Friday night after a long flight and discover extensive dirt and mold on the shower walls. The nighttime front desk clerk patiently tried to use cleaner and towels to remove it but it was heavily soiled and the cleaner did not remove it. Since the hotel was fully booked, we had no choice but to sleep in the room even though we could not take a shower that night or in the morning. The next day Jerome Didier, the manager, and the Housekeeping Manager inspected the room and agreed that it had not been cleaned. Although he moved us to another room for the next two nights, he denied my request for a refund for our first night. We were told that Nicolas Guipet, the general manager, made the decision. I asked to talk to Mr. Guipet and Jerome told me that he would relay the message. I did not get a call from anyone for two days. On Monday when we were checking out, I asked to speak to Jerome. In our conversation, he still refused to waive the charge for the first night or reduce the rate. After a lengthy and frustrating conversation, which included Jerome telling us that we could not post our comments on Trip Advisor, he finally agreed to a reduced rate. Although the hotel is in a good location, I cannot recommend Hotel d'Aubusson due to the way that the management staff mishandled their negligence. Even though the bathroom in Room 12 was filthy and potentially unhealthy, I would have still felt favorable about our stay if management had not stubbornly refused to resolve this manner appropriately.
