The whole stay was just a nightmare, from checking in to checking out. My family & I travel a lot and this is the worst average hotel we have ever stayed at. Receptionist the day we checked in was very rude, the worst checking in experience me & my family ever had. Receptionist charged us for an extra bed that was supposed to be 25 euro/night but they charged 30 euro/ night. We were told that we should check out a day before the actual date. The soaps & shampoos bottle was empty for the whole stay!!!! we had to buy out own. One day towel wasnt ready and receptionist told us to go downstairs and pick it up once its ready??? because of lack of staff working every night - iam your customer. THE WORST IS after checking out, my dad & I left some things (wallet & bracelet - the important ones - alongside shoes & a sarong), we called and they were telling us that they didnt find anything from our room when we know we left shoes & a sarong in the room. I called them 3x hoping they would be honest but they lied completely and screamed at us saying that they will hang up & we need to stop calling them to check if their housekeeping found it. Apparently, they do not ask their housekeeper about their work as thats what they told us. I also did not receive any receipts/ invoice from our stay -- very dodgy. All the receptionist were really unprofessional in what they do and unbeliavably rude!!!! I dont recommend to stay in this hotel at all! Staff were not honest at all & very rude. The hotel seems to be operating unproffesionally in the way how they handle things. They also put a block on my father's credit card and they asked us to pay by cash when we arrive. They said they would release the block on the amount on credit card when we paid but they did not and I dont know if they have as they would not speak honestly!!!!!

Dear Client,

We feel very sorry to read your comment.
But we would like to remind you that platforms like TRIPADVISOR are above all intended to give an honest and objective opinion.
This is, in no way a forum for sending his hatred and forcing his vengeance for whatever reason...
We will therefore remind the facts for the people who will read your comment :
You had reserved on BOOKING.COM, 2 rooms for 4 people (Only 4). Upon check-in, you were 5. (a child of 11 years ) that you obviously did not declare on the reservation.
The receptionist, having done only his work, reminded you that in France, there are norms and standards to respect : It is absolutely forbidden to accommodate 3 people in a room adapted for 2.
It was therefore necessary to find a solution. This was done with the agreement of another guest who had kindly accepted to change room.
So you had a triple room with the payment of an extra 30 euro per night. This is logical and In accordance with our sales policy and it is written on all our sales websites that the sup bed is 30€ never 25... .
When you checked out early in the morning, you thought had forgotten a wallet and a bracelet in room 46 or 42. You had rummaged everywhere but in vain !
Once arrived in England, you had called 5 times for the same problem. The receptionist told you that we hadn’t found anything. We asked our housekeepers that assure that nothing was in the room.
As per your invoice, you had it just after the payment and we sent it again by mail according to your request.
This is why we refute your indictment against our hotel and wish that your remarks on TRIPADVISOR as well as on BOOKING.COM are due only to a misunderstanding.
We advise you nevertheless to declare all the people (even a baby) who travel with you, Because there are standards and laws to respect for the safety of all.

Hotel was in a good location with numerous facilities such as the metro and local shops. Reception staff were kind and helpful. Room was small but we were rarely in it so not an issue. Cleaner attempted to enter our room at 9.30 Am on day of checkout (Baring in mind check out is 12am) to ask how long we would be. Continuously banging on the door, when i opened it he seemed shocked and walked away. This is unprofessional to say the least. other than this, the stay was okay.

its a great hotel in a nice place.. a bit far from de main atraccions (25 min).. but if you dont mind travelling with the metro its a cheap but fancy place to be.. the room gets cleaned every day and there is good aircondition... the breakfast is simple but really cosy.. its an 24 hour reception and the people who work here are really nice.. day time recepcionist is friendly and very kind.. the only thing we reacted at is when a lady (seemed like the owner or some manager) went into our room while i was changing.. and she didnt even close the door when she saw me... she just stood outside the room telling me "i had time".. it was the first day and we were staying 4 days.. it was a bit uncomfortable... but apart from that great hotel.. near the moulin rouge.. great pubs and gourmet restaurant.. but have in mind it closes like 01-02 o clock on ordinary days

originally a private residence it has been renovated and updated very nicely into a hotel. the location is ideal off the noisy chicly in the midst of numerous lovely restaurants, down the hill to the Rue de Martyrs fruit markets, small grocers every where. enough off the tourist path to not dodge tourists at every step. the bathroom in particular is quite well done.
