This was highly recommended by our hotel Nspoleon. It is not a traditional French bistro. Great food but it's Asian Fusion. We had a lovely dinner but we were still on the hunt for French Food which we found at Benoit

We really enjoyed Le Hide. This little place offers such a varied menu and all of it is presented beautifully. Really nice staff, good wine, great menu, and surprisingly moderate price made for a very positive experience. (We were just able to get a table a few days in advance for a Friday night at 21:00 aka 9:00PM. When we arrived, it was still relatively busy, but there were a couple 2-tops open. By 10:30-11:00, it was pretty quiet.)

This is not your everyday French bistro. A very small place with superb food and very friendly service. Located on a narrow street and unassuming from the outside. Do not let this discourage you. Once you step inside you are received with big smiles and great service. The menu is relatively short but with so many delicious dishes that it is hard to choose. Once at your table you will find the food wonderfully prepared and presented. Full of flavors and authenticity. Portions are large and a bit heavy from all the good and tasty fats. Tried the Atlantic mackerel with creamy mustard followed by the slow cooked beef stew. Both dishes were perfect.

Wine in a carafe in typical small local French restaurant. Make reservations, setting is VERY LIMITED. I liked this place, food is nice, service is very good and they have menus in English! Big plus... Tried the scallops and enjoyed the flavors, nothing super memorable but good blend of greens made it differently nice. Priced average for this kind of restaurant in Paris, located one block from the Arc de Triunf (Sorry if I miss spelled that, my autocorrect is running the show now).

This trip to Paris was the second for my husband and I and the first for my parents. We had come across Le Hide on our last trip about 4 years ago and had to take my parents there. We got a little nervous having hyped it up so much and then wondering if it would be just as good as the first time. It was! Maybe even better. Our hotel made our reservation but when we got there, they didn't have it. However, they made room for 4 in their tiny restaurant and we were perfectly happy. The food is so amazing and for a really nice meal out, the price isn't bad. We love this place and if we ever go back to Paris, and I hope we will, I will definitely go back. One tip is to ask your hotel to make a reservation ahead of time. The phone message to make one is in French and we couldn't reach a person. Although the two servers we had both spoke excellent English and were wonderful.
