Very convenience location! Not far from subway station Rambuteau. Can walk to Hotel de Ville.... or walk a little further to Notre-Dame. You can find supermarket, bakery, restaurants nearby. (By the way the bakery Hure on your way to Rambuteau is very yummy.)
Friend of owner Lesile met us for key and was very nice and friendly. The size (bedrooms, living room, bathroom) is quite decent considered being in Paris core location.
The apartment itself is getting old that could use some maintenance. The shower curtain is not the best. Because it is old and there is crack on tile etc, inevitably it feels the bathroom could have been cleaner. Otherwise, the rest of the areas are okay clean.
Water is hot but not plenty if there are 4 people using at night. Bring a little more soap and shampoo than you plan as you will use more given the hard water.
The kitchen was small (and old) though enough for fixing quick breakfast.
There are supplies (kitchen & bathroom) in general but you are expected to refill if it runs out. For instance, there were only 2 rolls of toilet paper for our 10 nights stay with 4 people, and we are told to refill ourselves.
You can smell smoking from other units of the building in the evening.
It is on the 3rd floor without elevator.
We were asked to provide tenant insurance. If not, purchase it from the agent which was additional 3.5% of the total cost.
There is no possible luggage storage arrangement with the owner if your flight arrives early morning. Early check in for us another 35 euro (provided no guest the night before you), or the owner suggested to book an additional day for the night before.
