We stayed here for the price. It was a wonderful place to stay for the price paid. The shower is small, and there is no air conditioning, but these are my only complaints. The place feels quite secure, needing a key to get past a gate and then again to get past the lobby. There is a short walk to the metro, line 12. There are quite a few bakeries nearby, a McDonalds, a Subway, quite a few fruits and vegetable markets, a pizza restaurant, and a grocery store. If you want to take a bus instead of the metro, there is a bus closer than the metro. There is a working fridge and microwave which we used. There is a stove, coffee makers and other appliances that we did not use, but are there for your convenience. There's even a fan, which we used often because it was hot the week we visited.
The owners were incredible nice. We were given the tour of the apartment on day one. The elevator to the floor is very smooth and fast. The apartment is kind of small, but a good enough size for a place to crash between visiting the amazing beauty of Paris. Most importantly, there was a fridge to keep our water cold, which was always a delight to come back to.
Most importantly, there is a balcony off of the apartment. From the balcony you have a beautiful view of Sacre Coeur. Standing to one side of the balcony allows you to see the Eiffel Tower. The sight is quite nice during the day. At night you can see both landmarks lit up, making the sight even more beautiful.
So in summary: Bus, Metro, Bakeries, Fresh fruits/vegetables, pizza, mcdonalds, subway, cafe's all within a 10 minute walk. Fridge in the apartment to keep your food and drinks cold, beautiful sight from the balcony (Eiffel Tower and Sacre Coeur).
