Booked this as a stopover driving back from holiday through Expedia and thought the price good value for 4. The hotel has really helpful bi lingual staff. The room was fine - the kids beds were z beds but fine for my 7 and 12 year old and the bed and bedding nice. Bathroom fine - good shower and bath tub and separate toilet. The foyer of this hotel is great especially for slightly older kids - fatboy beanbags, table football, electronics etc for the kids and a nice open space where you can still see them, but sit back a little. Outdoor pool, ping pong and badminton all set out. Thought the bar prices and the restaurant were expensive. It was a good meal but expensive. There are places you could go out to eat at - bearing in mind the Hotel is in a retail park type setting, not near the City centre. We decided to eat at the Hotel restaurant and albeit expensive, it was a nice relaxing meal with great service and worth the extra cost after a long day travelling in the car, and being able to eat where we were staying. We didn't have breakfast as weren't hungry and thought it was a bit expensive.
Would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Room 326 was fine!

Dear Emmabtate,
Thank you for sharing your experience at the Ibis Styles Tours Sud. I am very pleased to read that you enjoyed the room as well as all the spaces offered so that everyone can relax after travelling a long day. It seems important to us that on the road of the holidays you are already there arriving with us. Thank you also for appreciating the quality of the service and the quality of the dishes served. It is a pity that you did not take advantage of the breakfast by taking at least a pressed orange juice for energy, at Ibis Styles breakfast is included in the price of the room! See you soon, Pierre CONNAN

The hotel is easy to reach from the motorway and has excellent secure parking. The receptionist was welcoming and spoke good English. The rooms are large and pets are allowed. There is an attractive terrace overlooking a large swimming pool and meals and drinks can be taken on the terrace as well as the restaurant.
The hotel is well sited for visits to the Chateau of the Loire.

Dear IanW1942,

All of my team and I would like to thank you for your return after your stay at the Ibis Styles Tours Sud. Due to the proximity of the A10 motorway we welcome travelers from all over Europe and are happy to communicate in their language and welcome their pet. What would be better to relax than a dip in the pool and a drink on the terrace after a long day of travel ? See you soon Touraine awaits you again Pierre CONNAN

The room & its in-room amenities, other than the decor, are basically old. There's only a centralized in-room air cooler instead of a/c. A plinth was missing, slow water evacuation from the shower/bath tub - I actually wondered if the hotel's Management has ever gone on a round check of the rooms.
On the contrary, the hotel staff is top notch. The receptionist on duty on the evening of our arrival was helpful and a lady staff wearing a black color uniform was exceptionally attentive to the guests at breakfast.
I hope that the Management will take note that there's only that much the staff can do; the rooms & the amenities have to be followed up & maintained at good condition. Reason of my 3-star feedback reflects on this lack of maintenance.

Great facilities for an ibis hotel just outside of Tours
Having a pool to use and relax by at the end of a long drive was great. The quality of the breakfast was very good. Staff were really friendly and helpful.
