We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel host. The restaurant is set out of the village in a very pleasant area. The weather was good as so all the guests had tables outside in the garden. The menu is small but the quality of food that we ate was superb. Quality dining - dont expect chicken and chips here! Service was excellent. Prices are about right for the quality for the food. Well worth a visit - book in advance.

Off the beaten track although nothing is that far apart in this corner of France.

Modern take on French classics brilliantly executed sets this apart from the usual run of the mill local offerings.

Excellent wine list with some back vintages featuring Loire wines.

Highly recommended.

The best vegetables ever! Beautiful rooms in the countryside. This was my second time staying there. The food is amazing and local.

Wanting somewhere to stay near Azey le Rideau and where we could eat we happened upon Auberge Pom'Poire. After a long drive we were warmly greeted and shown to our room overlooking the large garden at the back. There we enjoyed a welcome beer. Later we went down for our meal. We did not know what to expect but we had a wonderful meal with excellent wine some of it from the family vineyard. We did not leave anything on any plate.! The staff were delightful and helpful. next morning we had a wonderful breakfast. It was not a buffet and the jams etc were all home made. We wished we had booked for two nights to spend more time in the area. We will be back on our next trip to France.

We thoroughly enjoyed the meal we had here. The setting is beautiful we ate on the terrace and the food was both tasty and attractive in presentation. The service was good, attentive but not over bearing and all in all a very enjoyable experience
