Have eaten here two nights in a row. The eleven euro three course menu midday or evening is fantastic value. The food is classic 1970s french. I was a commi chef in England then and we were trying to copy this stuff. Cream sauces, demi-glace, iles flottantes and potatoes peeled and boiled to perfection. Diners are packed in and service is brusque but I am not complaining I'll return a third time.

Super place to eat on the fringe of St Malo, it's a family orientated restaurant where the service is excellent with an extensive menu. Good value for money. Enjoy.

Sopped for a drink and stayed for an excellent lunch as it was very busy with local trade and the food arriving from the kitchen looked very good.
We had 3 courses for 11 Euros and had blue cheese and ham salad and duck pate for starters followed by braised ham with pepper sauce and fish of the day, both were hot fresh and very tasty. For dessert a selection of local cheeses from a help yourself board and creme brûlée were lovely- the staff although very busy were friendly and professional and we would go back time and time again this was a much better bet than the crowed overpriced tourist menus in the town centre.

This restaurant was open Sunday evening (unusual in Saint Malo) and was busy with local diners and drinkers.
There was an extensive menu but the set menus were good value and provided excellent food. We were happy with the €11 menu for three courses. Wine wasn't included but drinks were reasonably priced.
The staff were busy but managed to be friendly and efficient. We would be happy to return.

Price / quality for the 'plat du hour' is right.
Service is terrible, got treated as second class citizen or even worse. Not sure it was because I was alone, Couples, families seem to get more attention, better service though.
I don't understand how to got this relative good rating, I'm not coming back here.
