Great hotel, very genuinely friendly staff. Wonderful family rooms ideal even for teenagers with full sized single beds &'additional TV on a mezzanine floor. Super sized shower & separate toilet. Very powerful air con'. Quiet 5th floor. Ideal for disabled & families as the lift brings you from the car park etc. Worth paying for the parking.
Reception, bar & lounge are all comfortable & great for a drink or snack we enjoyed sitting & chatting after fully visiting the walled area of St Malo. Only a brisk walk along the sea front to the historic areas, so ideal location. Beautiful sandy beach just out side the door & over the road. We didn't use the restaurant, as we ate at Pizza Olivia, just a few doors down,...... Lots of choice nearby. Fresh baste rise for breakfast from a bakery a short walk away. Definitely use this hotel group again.

Room Tip: Ask for additional pillows & a top sheet, as the air con is powerful & the quilts are very good quality. You can then please everyone in your room. Our mattresses were firm, so you could also then use the quilts to top them etc to suit personal comfort. Worth having a sea view, but our side on sea/ garden room was light, airy & perfect for our 1 night stay. The stairs yo the mezzanine are steep, so we kept our curtains open for moonlight to help during the night. Keeping the toilet light on but door pushed to also helped it be safer.

Ideally located for a stay overnight before the ferry, to walk into the old town or to explore the area. Lovely welcoming staff and excellent buffet breakfast. Recently modernised, the rooms are great but a huge double bed took up almost all the floor space, a King Size bed would have been more than adequate and left space for luggage, dressing etc.
The hotel faces the beach road with partially obstructed sea views but to the rear is a quiet road and safe parking making the E15/day garage parking unnecessary, we feel.
If travelling with Brittany Ferries it is more economical to book through them.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view, worth the small supplement.

We are a family of four – with two teenagers - I always try and get two rooms connecting or a family room which is sometimes difficult as the choices are more limited

Room was clean , spacious , quiet . Linens good , beds good.

Value for money I believe

Breakfast was good - buffet style

Location- good walking into old city and along the beach

Wifi was ok could be improved

After a highly efficient and friendly welcome we found our room overlooked the digue and were able to enjoy a constantly changing seascape. Very recently refurbished, the room was spotlessly clean and although relatively small it had all we needed. The bedding was excellent - very comfortable and could be either kingsize or two singles, we think. Didn't take breakfast, but again the facilities are good. Quiet sunny courtyard garden offers a place to relax over a drink at the end of the day.
The staff were unfailingly polite and helpful, and we wouldn't hesitate to book again for our next visit to Saint Malo. Highly recommended!
