Positives
- Nice dining room
- Good service
- Good food
- Good cheese choice
- Quite good value for money

Negatives
- Not much really
- Maybe missing a bit the "wow effect"... (primarily presentation)
- On Saturdays the menu with the best value for money is not available

All in all certainly a restaurant we can warmly recommend if you like French cuisine in a classy setting

We often eat, either on the Terrace, or in the Cap Horn and Dinner was not up to the usual high standard.

We lunched and dined there four times. The pleasure did not wear out. the Sea food is great. The service brisk and smiling.
The room is great when you're at a window table.

From the minute we entered this restaurant we were warmly welcomed . This is a really well set out and beautifully decorated establishment.
Some of my friends had the 3 course 37.00 euro menu. Some of us had meals from the A La Carte menu.
It was quite convoluted in that some had pre-paid, and all had different menu's but this was handled in a most professional and easy to understand way!
We all started with a nice Mellon amuse bouche. Crispy bread rolls weren't just handed out once, but over and over again with beautiful salty butter until we couldn't fit any more in.
From all reports, all meals were received well. My entrecôte was nice but had large portions of fat which didn't appeal to me but others may have enjoyed that .
The desserts looked particularly spectacular and beautifully presented.
Chocolates and tiny lemon cakes were given to all and more chocolates given with our coffees .
Even though I didn't really enjoy my meal, I know all the others did, and the service from the staff was so wonderful and attentive that I would give this place six stars if possible.
Reasonable prices for this kind of restaurant as well.

Le Cap Horn is a brilliant restaurant. We ate there twice and each night had a lovely table overlooking the sea and the beach. As well as a la carte they have three set menus which seemed very good value. We tried the two most expensive set menus and were delighted with both of them. Stand out dishes were the grilled fillet of turbot with black rice, the wonderful oysters and the fillet with chorizo, as well as the excellent cheese board. The fact that we only stayed in St Malo for three nights and ate here twice says it all!
