What a treat! This creperie had amazing galettes and crepes. I had the scallop, asparagus, and leeks galette- mostly because I had never heard of putting scallops in a crepe. I will never again question the crepe combinations at Creperie Saint Melanie. It was to die for, and quite filling (also because my friend and I had a large jug of local cider to wash everything down with). The scallops were very fresh and genuine scallops (unfortunately, shark and stingray are often passed as scallops in the global seafood market--many times unknowingly). The asparagus was very cooked as to blend in with the leek sauce and crepe. My friend got a simple dessert with salted caramel and whipped cream, of which I very much enjoyed stealing bites. Most of all, it was at an affordable price point for France (12€ for the scallops galette, and this was a more expensive choice).
What's more: we had a train to catch in the evening, and told our waitress. The food came out in less than twenty minutes!
