We only came here to kill time while we waited for our hotel room; however it's well worth a special visit. Well laid out, and with a host of things to see, and do.An outstanding place in an otherwise tedious urban location..

An interesting variety of trees from large sequoias to Ginko Biloba and a huge rose and dahlia garden section.

Normally when asked to visit the Park - my hear sinks! I mean what is so special about a patch of green in the city but in Rennes I was converted. Dating back to the 16C the Park provides a wonderful green lung to the city with views over the city, a mix of formal and informal gardens and an excellent bistro. There was so much to see, to walk around and stunning views - let alone fascinating sculptures. This is a place to walk, relax and reflect...I was converted

The Park is quite central. Only about 5-10 min walk from the parliament building and Main Street. It's so peaceful. A lovely Avery as well if you like birds. Really big playground for the kids. It's a great place even for a solo stroll.
