We booked very last minute for a long weekend. The accommodation was spacious and well arranged. The bed was very comfortable and the garden was a delight with the scent of lavender and rosemary.
This beautiful French home is lovely and full of character--from the two unique fireplaces to the old grandfather clock and wooden beamed ceilings. The garden was a wonderful place to wind down, sip some wine, and gaze at the port village and passing boats from the perched garden table and chairs alongside the river. All inside was comfortable and very cozy. Supermarkets are an easy drive up the hill to Lanvallay or a site-filled walk up the cobbled street to Dinan village. What a fantastic medieval village it is! Parking was a breeze, so traveling around the area towards the sea or other villages was very enjoyable. Jeremy and Julia are extremely nice people and are there whenever needed. Les Tisserands is the perfect place to stay when visiting Dinan!
Les Tisserands is a well furnished apartment in a great location. Comfortable bed, good facilities inside, attractive garden right next to the river and its ancient bridge. The lovely boulangerie and patisserie are just across the bridge, perfect for breakfast croissants and bread, and there are numerous restaurants there too. Steep walk up the hill to Dinan, which was lovely, and surprisingly busy with French tourists in September. Good walks around the city walls, and up and down the river. Easy access to St Malo, Mont St Michel and Brittany beaches.
The only fault was the tiny washing up bowl, too small for the larger pans!
We had a lovely11 night holiday in Les Tisserands- the property is located in Dinan Port with the garden backing onto a footpath by the river- there is a lovely garden with raised area with seats overlooking the river- perfect to have breakfast on a sunny morning. Parking was not a problem for us when we went in early July
The property is very comfortable and well equipped with a very comfy bed. Jeremy and Julia were local and very helpful when we had a ptoblem with the TV and they persevered. until it was sorted.
Lots of things to do in the area- we had a great boat trip from Dinan Port to St Malo in lov,ely beaches at St Cast - a really lovely location and great property.
We stayed here for five nights. The apartment is located in the small Port of Dinan near the old bridge. There are good restaurants and a patisserie nearby and it's right on the river. There is a lovely small garden and the interior of the apartment is perfectly equipped with everything needed for a relaxing holiday. We found wine, milk and some coffee and tea for our arrival. We felt very welcome. We made the walk uphill to the Centre Ville a couple of times a day past eating places, shops and galleries. It was a perfect end to our European adventure.
