We took a first floor room with a terrace overlooking the sea. Sleeping to the sound of waves crashing was wonderful. This is an old hotel that has been updated. The rooms are a bit small due to the king size bed and the added bathroom. The bathroom was excellent as was the bed. The staff was quite friendly and helpful--we were having some car trouble and they helped locate a garage for us. The restaurant downstairs was excellent as well, with quality at very good prices. They also have private parking.

We stopped for lunch after a ride on Le Petit Train. We were seated outside and served very quickly. The Galettes were tasty and the children's meals were good value. Definitely recommend the Moules a la Breton, they were delicious.

The staff was no polite and aggressive.. i didnt understand if the guest was me or the hotel staff. We felt unwanted and treated very bad just because we asked for WiFi that was complitely not working. The manager of hotel thinks that he is the only one on the coast to have Wi-Fi but at the end was no true because he didnt have. The funny things is that wifi was included in the reservation but because it was included manager thinks that we cant complain about it is not working at all , haha he is comic and aggressive.

We pitched up in Carnac on the Toussaint weekend without booking anything, but the weather was wonderful. The welcome at Les Rochers was very warm and genuine and we decided to stay, booking a room with terrace overlooking the magnificent Carnac Plage.

The room was compact but comfortable with a modern bathroom, flat screen TV, wifi, hair dryer.

The bed was very comfy, the room was heated by an electric heater and was very warm.

The view at dawn was stunning!

We ate our evening meal in the hotel but you are at the heart of Carnac Plage with many choices.

Breakfast was good - great coffee, croissant, local fruit juice etc etc.

Regrettably we had to leave earlier than planned, but this is no reflection on the hotel.

What is wonderful is that this hotel has been in the same family for four generations and they clearly care about their clients. Despite being built in the 1920s the rooms have been updated (not always so in France!) and the plumbing works. <LOL>. In fact the bathroom is modern and, importantly, subscribes and adheres to a green policy.

Bear in mind that in summer you are on the main beach and it could be noisy at night, BUT you will be treated to a stunning sunrise and one of the most beautiful bays in the world - with a very warm Breton Degemat!!! ;-)
