The hotel is easy to find. It is on the main road, and the GPS will deliver you outside the door. I passed it by, however, and had to go round the block to gain access to the entrance which is not on the main road.

The exit emerges on to the same main road, and extra caution is necessary to enter the main street as parked cars will obscure oncoming traffic.

Owners/staff extremely friendly with a knowledge of English equivalent to my own schoolboy French. Their friendliness overcame any difficulties, however.
Room was basic, with TV and Wi-Fi available.

Its convenient location gives easy access to nearby restaurants and bars, and there is a delightful park within a short walking distance. In town, there are many restaurants to choose from in all price ranges. I recommend the Red Dragon, Chinese. Very good, speak English and reasonably priced.

Did not have breakfast due to an early start, but area set aside for meals seemed inviting.

Ask for a room away from the street, as a siesta after a long drive will be disturbed by the passing vehicles.

Suited me as a single traveller.

Fair price for what was on offer in August at €60.

Room Tip: Away from traffic

Rooms were small but clean and manager was helpful.
The building is an old house and rooms have been constructed in original rooms to add bath and toilet.
Parking is in the grounds and safe.
Maybe not the best place we have stayed but reasonable value for money except we thought the breakfast was expensive forcwhat it was.

Had a pleasant 3 nights. Typical French hotel. Lovely owners who spoke English and helped with planning itinerary. Had French breakfast every morning and afternoon tea. It is about a mile and a quarter from town so if you are reasonably fit is walkable no problem, a 20 mins walk. Parking available.

We have just spent 2 nights at this small friendly hotel. It has an excellent location, about 10 minutes walk to the main town centre. Rooms are small and basic but very adequate and spotlessly clean. Lots of secure parking which is ideal when travelling. If you are touring and sightseeing and just want somewhere cheap and cheerful to sleep and have breakfast then you couldn't ask for better. The owner is very friendly and helpful and serves a good breakfast for €8. Good wifi.

Room Tip: Go for full en suite, not toilet in the corridor. Don't be put off by main road location, it's very quiet.

Stopped here on 26/07/14 returning from portugal/spain.come across this hotel by chance 1km from town centre, loads of bars and restaurants in town, lots of free parking, double room, on suite, no air con but electric fan in room blowing cold air. 50 euros 1night no breakfast, not cheap but fair price for this type of hotel,. Lots to do and see in pau if you have time .not far from very scenic routes over pyrenees.

Room Tip: Stands back from road so all rooms should be quiet
