We stayed at Beaumanoir on our way to Toledo from Paris and were delighted with the hotel. Charming building and a delightful bedroom with a good sized bath. So many hotels just offer showers nowadays and old folks like us like to soak after a long drive. The staff were attentive and the owner who is omni-present is charming.
We arrived later than expected due to a motorway closure following an accident and were a little disappointed to find that we could only have the Bistro menu. It was served in the charming siting room and was good but I had hoped for something fishy given the location. Great wine list with some relative bargains. Next time we will book dinner ahead of time.
We will certainly return when we are next back in the late spring or summer.More
