Description: The unique menu remained unchanged since the beginning. This formula is a decked slice of sirloin of 170 grams accompanied by french fries and its famous sauce. His son Henry, opened a restaurant in Toulouse in 1962, in Bordeaux in 1966, in Nantes in 1980, in Montpellier in 1990, and finally, in Lyon in 1999. These restaurants are characterized by scots and black mural, a lemon yellow topping and hostesses dressed with yellow apron and black blouse. The exterior is beautified by yellow and black blinds vertical stripes for the best effect.

Amazing tender entrecote steak with a buttery special sauce and more frites than you could ever eat. Get there at least 15 minutes before it opens to make sure you get in for the first sitting.

This place has had a review by Rick Stein and even then it’s worth it and stands on its own reputation. The food and wine we had for 35 euros each was enough for an army. Hope you like steak and chips! The sauce is not for anyone on a diet either!

A two course set menu at a fixed price, a reasonable price.
Good quality of dishes but presentation can be improved.
Service staff is warm and friendly? No reservation, but worth the wait.
Menu is English is available.

My partner and I are meat eaters but not particularly steak, however we went with two friends who told us how wonderful this place was. It opens at noon but we queued from 11.30 as there was a queue building. At noon the doors opened and as three floors were in use, the queue dwindled as we all got in. We were shown where to go and the plentiful staff were friendly and helpful. We had the steak and chips. If it's quantity you want there's loads, but if it's quality....Wow!!! The best steak I've ever eaten and cooked to perfection. Wine was excellent and we'll definitely return.

L’Entrecote is the absolute best example of sticking to one thing and doing it well. Their entrecôte is the best I’ve ever had, and served to be a satisfying end to a fun and busy day exploring Bordeaux. The fries and dessert were just as excellent!
