The place in Bordeaux is highly recommended in TripAdvisor. For that reason we went there. It is a kind of family restaurant, the ambiance quite fancy put together out of different tables and chairs. It is a cozy place and makes you feel good while having a dinner. The dinner itself: the starter was really delicious, but the main course... - well. They use local beef and they call a steak cooked for a party of two a „roti“ which has nothing to do with a traditional roast. The beef was really chewy, almost unable to be cut. I think real beef needs to come from Argentina or Brazil and requires a dry age level which that local beef did not get. The dessert was good but basic. Cooked and smashed apples with some crumble and a cream out of chestnuts. It is a nice idea but nothing special (but the kitchen itself says they are rustic cuisine). The staff absolutely friendly and well acting. All in one we are not sure to recommend, but maybe it is something different to the mass tourist places instead.
