Great reception on arrival with the staff offering coffee, and lady members offering help with our bags. Smart room with a view from the window of the Spire. Our fifth hotel of our trip in France and the first to offer bacon and egg for breakfast. The breakfast area was a bit cramped and was part of reception -maybe reception would be better situated where the library is?

The road between the Hotel and the River was sometimes frequented at night by groups of people who seemed to meet there to drink, and there were clothes and other belongings piled by shop doors.

Excellent parking.

This lovely French hotel is conveniently located right next to the train station and the trams that go into the center of Bordeaux. We stayed here after flying into Charles de Gualle airport & taking the TGV into Bordeaux. The rooms are small but comfortable and the staff is very helpful. A great value for the money.

The staff are good, helpful and attentive. The rooms are clean. I loved the atmosphere and interior. There was everything I needed in the room I stayed in: alarm clocks, hair dryer, safe, WiFi, air conditioning etc.

Dear Valéria,

Thank you for your compliments on our team and on the atmosphere of our establishment, everything is made so that you felt welcomed and comfortable throughout your stay. I am delighted to read that you were seduced by your room, it offers all the comfort necessary as in a cosy nest and it in some not only of the Station holy Jean.
I hope that you had the opportunity to test our breakfast and to taste our regional specialities as the canelés of Bordeaux. It is an inescapable discovery during your passage in Gironde.
In the pleasure to welcome you again with so much benevolence and to smile that the first time.

This cosy gem is situated within walking distance of the train and bus station as well as the tram line. It is surrounded by leafy streets and provides easy access to get yourself to city center to explore the sites and do some shopping!

The hotel itself is a great combination of the old historic exterior and wonderfully modern interiors. The rooms are compact, but cleverly designed with everything you need; mini bar, coffee machine, alarm clocks, hair dryer, safe etc.

The hotel staff are very friendly and extremely helpful, from arranging your taxi to suggesting and booking fabulous places for dinner. Breakfast is served from early on for those wishing to seize the day or simply having an early flight out. The hotel offers continental options as well as local French delicacies.

For a chain hotel, what a cracker of a little hotel. Room was small and bathroom is tiny, but for an overnight stay it is fine. It is really modern, but nestled in an old building shell. Wifi is superb, and bed is super comfy. AC struggles to really chill the room though. Service is very, very helpful and location near station and on the tram line into the old town is great. You can walk into town following the C tram line, but it is 2.5 kms. We did it, but used tram as well. A real gem in our honest opinion.

Room tip: Probably best to opt for one looking away from surrounding streets, but area pretty quiet all round
