Staying at La Monnaye is like staying in an interior design magazine photo shoot. Every detail has been thought of to make your stay a breeze. And with the amount of antiques in tow you can't be surprised to fill out a shirt-term rental agreement before you leave... this is premium airbnb quality.
And part of that quality is Nathaniel whose genuine concern for your enjoyment of stay in the apartment and Bordeaux is paramount. You notice this from the moment he begins his orientation tour!
That aside, the apartment is 15 minutes walk from the train station, 15 minutes walk (along a leafy boulevard) to the water mirror (you won't want to miss indulging a bottle of wine as the sun goes down there), and surrounded by restaurants and supermarkets.
If this apartment has come up in your search results, do yourself a favour and book it before someone else does.
From start to finish Nathaniel was the best host I've ever had! The apartment was exactly as pictured and described. The attention to detail is apparent when you walk into the space. It is a beautifully renovated 18th century apartment in the heart of Bordeaux. Clean, organized, tasteful, spacious and well maintained. Nathaniel organized a great tour of St. Emilion and a nearby winery for us last minute. He made himself available to us the entire trip. We absolutely recommend this apartment for a great stay Bordeaux France!
